Unable to access local storage

We use Safari’s local storage to store your guest details on your iPad before passing it off to our servers to store permanently. This is the safest way to not lose any customer data. For example, if you have no internet connection then all guest data is stored safely on your device until you come back online.

Why am I seeing this?

Unfortunately, the space allocated by Safari is quite small (about 5mb). Although we only store guest details, which take up a very small amount of space (100’s of guests would need to be saved on your device), it is sometimes possible that the local storage limit can be reached.

What should I do to fix this?

Before fixing this issue, please ensure that there are no records waiting to be synced. You can check this by looking in the top right corner of your app. If there is a circle there with a number inside then it means that there are this many guests waiting to be synced to the server.

Do not proceed further until you have connected to the internet and these records have synced.

Be careful with what you choose to delete – Wherewolf takes no responsibility for any loss of data caused by deleting content from your device.

Once you are clear to go, on your iPad go to:

Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data > Remove All Website Data

Your local storage will be cleared and you are ready to continue using your app.
